IMPORTANT - VAT refund policy

Conference attendees from EU countries Companies that fulfill the requirements can reclaim the paid Value Added Tax (VAT) by applying to the tax authorities of their Country.

Conference attendees from non-EU countries Companies that fulfill the requirements can reclaim the Value Added Tax (VAT) from the Danish tax authorities by completing this application form and return it by post to the address stated in top of the form.

Refund of VAT apply to all expenses i.e. registration fee, accommodation, and other documented cost

Registration types

The conference fee for Regular delegates includes:

  • Access to the conference rooms (Regular sessions and Workshops)
  • Access to the industrial exhibition hall
  • Conference proceedings
  • Coffee breaks and refreshments
  • Lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Social event/Gala Dinner on Wednesday, October 3

The conference fee for Students includes:

  • Access to the conference rooms (Regular sessions and Workshops)
  • Access to the industrial exhibition hall
  • Conference proceedings
  • Coffee breaks and refreshments
  • Lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday

The extra conference fee for Tutorial access includes:

  • Access to all the tutorials on Monday, October 1
  • Tutorial material
  • Coffee break and lunch on Monday, October 1

The extra Gala dinner ticket includes:

  • Access to the Welcome reception on Monday, October 1
  • Social event/Gala Dinner on Wednesday, October 3

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Registrations must be paid prior to admission to the conference.
  2. Registration is considered effective upon confirmation of payment by the Conference Secretariat.
  3. Cancellation refunding

  1. Non-arrivals will be non-refundable for any reason.
  2. Substitute participants will be accepted at any time provided that VisitAalborg is informed of the change, and that the substitute participant has not been previously registered.

SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Any accepted paper must end up in a registration. In the case you are co-author of several accepted papers, a different author must be registered for each paper.
  2. No refund of registration fee will be made to authors who got a paper accepted for publication on Microelectronics Reliability.
  3. Cancellations have to be notified in written by signed letter before August 15th, 2018 and sent by postal mail or email to the Conference Secretariat.
  4. Payments must be made either:
  • by bank transfer (in Euros - net of any bank charges), or
    Please forward a copy of the bank transfer with the name of the participant to the Conference Secretariat.
  • by credit card (MASTER or VISA or EUROCARD) via our online secure website.

VISA LETTER ENQUIRY

All participants who need an invitation letter for VISA purposes are requested to send an email to registration<at>esref2018conf.org, providing the information below with the subject "ESREF 2018 - Invitation letter for VISA application". Please note, that visa invitation letters will be sent only after your registration is completed.
